It took 5 hours to go 120 miles, round trip, and pick up Dr. Wu on Monday in the snow and freezing rain. He is doing fine. It's been 24 hours and he seems fairly adjusted. However, I forgot how much energy a kitten has. He just had breakfast and is running around the house. He loves to chase his toy mouse. And to play with a pipe cleaner.

I worked from home yesterday because it was his first day. I will again today because it's snowing like crazy. I was very scared during Monday's driving marathon. I do not want to go through that again and my boss is cool about it. I commute twice as far as my co-workers.

Winter will end someday. I swear it. It has to.
