This is the beginning of my life with Doctor Wu, who arrives on Monday. He is a Siamese rescue from Louisiana.
Today, Kim, who is in charge of the rescue, left Louisiana today. They will hit NC, Baltimore, PA, Danbury, CT, Rochester, NY, and then Maine!
He was due to be euthanized but Kim's shelter rescued him. And I am like the Egyptian princess who found him, lifted him out of his basket that was in the Nile and raised him.
I will raise Doctor Wu. I've wanted to get a cat ever since Mully and Mum moved out. But it was like trying to adopt from Juvie. This cat sent an attendant to the hospital. That cat has kidney stones and eats prescription medicine thrice the normal price. This one kind of killed his brothers and a sister.
But Doctor Wu passed his physical "with flying colors" and is very sweet, Kim tells me.
Thus begins an experience I really do love; adopting a cat into the family.
